Glee is set in a high school in Ohio where an idealistic teacher (Matthew Morrison) is determined to lift the school’s glee club to great glory. In doing so, he recruits a group of misfit students.
| TV scribe-producer Ryan Murphy of “Nip/Tuck” and “Popular” has created a new one-hour comedy musical for Fox that is unlike anything we’ve ever seen on television. The series stars Matthew Morrison (“Hairspray”) as a high school teacher who reinvents the glee club and challenges a gang of misfits (Lea Michele of “Spring Awakening” among them!) to be the best they can be. The music is all top 40 hits from the past and present, from Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” to Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab.” |
